Erskine Associates LLC is an award-winning, full-service design firm based in Redding, Connecticut, specializing in architecture, landscape architecture and interiors. We believe that good design has the ability to delight and inspire, and regardless of size or budget, every project holds this potential. Each project represents a creative synthesis of our clients’ dreams and our extensive experience in crafting timeless, functional and elegant designs.
Principal Silvia Erskine is a registered architect, landscape architect and interior designer in the State of Connecticut and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). She received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (1982) and a Master of Landscape Architecture (1986) from the University of Virginia. In 1986, she received a Certificate of Honor for Excellence in the Study of Landscape Architecture from the American Society of Landscape Architects. Prior to starting her own firm in 1995, Silvia worked with Cesar Pelli and Associates in New Haven, Connecticut and J.P. Franzen Associates in Southport, Connecticut.
Silvia is currently the Co-President of the Redding Land Trust. She earned a commendation from the State of Connecticut for her role as a Founding Member of the Town of Westport Tree Board. Silvia has previously served on the Preserve Committee of Devil’s Den, Fairfield County’s largest nature preserve. For many years she taught a History of Landscape Design course at the New York Botanical Gardens.
